bad company poor customer service
What a bad company. I made a reservation ahead of time with Priceline. I paid $644 for a full-size SUV. After completing my rental and bringing back my car, I got a final charge from the rental company. It was just $577. Anyone who thinks reasonably can tell I paid too much and deserve a refund. I contacted Priceline and they said because of overbookings on Priceline, Im not due a refund. It doesn’t matter how you operate your business or whether you overbook. I paid for it and the final amount was less than what I paid, so I should receive a refund for the difference. Forget about PRICELINE. I will not use them again. Bad company. Poor customer service. I have no idea who is getting my $67 refund, but my credit card company is going after them. Stay away from Priceline!

stay away from priceline
In June I pulled over because I was tired and looked for hotels nearby. Priceline had a Baymont close by so I booked a room. The Baymont in our Florida town is very nice. But this one was not the same. There was an old RV parked in the lot on the side. Day laborers were outside smoking and hanging out. In addition the front entrance was in bad shape. I reached out to Priceline and said I felt unsafe and it was terrible. How can I switch hotels? I reserved a Days Inn close by. I was told to cancel online but my booking was canceled so I couldn't cancel because the agent canceled it. I called the agent again and explained this to him. I contacted Baymont and spoke to the front desk and she said my booking was canceled. When I called Priceline about charging me the next day for two fees for the same night - one for a booking I had canceled already - the Agent said too bad because I called it a dump and that wasn't a valid reason to cancel. I told him the place seemed unsafe and that was a valid reason. I tried to escalate the issue to someone higher up but couldn't do that or get a refund. Also, at both places the walk-in rate matched Priceline's price. That isn't a deal. By the way, Wyndham used to own the best hotel in Tampa and now they have let their brand get damaged with places that have bad conditions and management... Stay away from Priceline!
