Ignition coil should be covered
I ran into a problem with my wife's car since it wouldn’t start. We used Car Shields to get it towed to the shop. That part went well as it was free for the vehicle being towed to the shop and we gave the Tow driver a great review and a tip for getting our car there safely. The dealership did their diagnosis and found out that the big issue (Ignition coil) was why the car wouldn’t start and since that was the case it’s seen as regular maintenance. We also had to get spark plugs, which was easy to take care of. What bothers me is how someone can tell ahead of time if something counts as maintenance or not before a diagnosis. I get spark plugs, but I thought the ignition coil should be covered since cars have many different parts that impact the usual wear and tear on a car. Thanks for letting me share my thoughts.
