don't be tempted by bigger refunds
I filed my taxes using Best Tax Filer in previous years, but this time they showed lower Returns than I expected, so I chose to file my taxes with a different company with a bigger Refund, Best Tax Team advised me many times to not report those losses, but I decided to file with others.
I then received a notice from the IRS stating I claimed Losses in 1040 TAX RETURN LINE 8, (Indian House expenses as losses) that I shouldn’t have reported. The IRS asked me to pay back the extra refund plus interest and penalties. I tried to reach the company about my notice but I got no reply from them. After that, I reached out to Best Tax Filer again and they helped me with the Notice and handling the interest and penalties.
So I recommend not getting tempted by bigger refunds or you might end up in a situation like mine where you could end up paying back even more.

not really worth the cost
I have used BTF for my taxes since five years and it hasn't been great unless I just have a Federal W2 for that they have a basic fee that is high, they don’t provide other services as they claim there’s nothing free as they claim. Honestly, not really. It's really costly to make changes, and they don’t give clear details on what they charge. The worst part is how they keep following up too much at the beginning of the year annoying you with multiple calls in one day, and if you request help or info the responses are quite unprofessional. I recommend avoiding these folks.
