totally careless sales team let us down
I can’t recommend Alba Cars to anyone I know. The service is awful. Any actual customer will feel the same way I did. I was after a Nissan Patrol and paid a booking fee of AED 5000. After I paid, the salesman pulled out a card and said there are two choices: one is, you have booked the car; this money is to reserve the car, but there’s no guarantee. If someone pays in cash, we will give the car to them. The other choice is a guaranteed booking you won't get a refund if the bank deal doesn’t go through then you will lose this cash. If you're paying a downpayment by credit card there's a trick they will charge you 3.5% on card fees which isn't right, and I asked for it in writing the manager said he’d waive it. The cashier is another terrible, arrogant person who knows nothing about service. When I asked him nicely, “A customer is in front of you for over 10 minutes and you’re just overlooking them. Can’t you ask what they’re waiting for?” he said he was calling us by name.Then he said he was working on something but really he was just staring at the screen without even noticing the customer. The bank approval from Emirates Islamic Bank arrived they didn’t believe the bank and asked for cash before giving the car even after Bank Manager spoke.When the car was delivered they only gave one key and when I requested the other key they said the car just had one key. The totally careless sales team let us down, and the same accounts person was the one texting us directions as if I owed him anything.This is a showy used car dealer and not friendly to customers at all.The finance guy in the first phase should be let go or should be shifted to another role not in service.
