I won't order from Skip again
I placed an order for the first time using Skip. When I completed the order with the restaurant, I got an error. I refreshed the page and my order remained in my cart so I tried again. This time it worked. As I was looking at the tracking screen I saw that my address changed to an address that was incorrect. I texted the driver 5 times and he didn’t respond. I tried to contact Skip but the only option I found was an email address for support. I emailed them to tell them what happened. The driver contacted me when he got there at the incorrect address, I told him the problem and sent him my right address. 5 minutes after he called me to say I needed to pay more because Skip wouldn’t cover the extra distance. (mind you, I had already settled for the food, the service charge, the delivery charge, and a tip!) I told him I wasn't paying more, so he refused to deliver. I reached out to Skip again and they offered me a partial refund in Skip credits! Needless to say I won't order from Skip again and am going to contact my bank for a chargeback.

used to be my go-to delivery option
Skip was once my go-to delivery option. I would order from it, even if I picked up my meals, and it was ready when I got there. Now they've begun charging for a service fee, so it doesn't make sense to order ahead, before I go pick it up.
Skip had better prices compared to Door Dash; they provided an insulated bag that kept the food warm, and I got notified when they were on the way. They used to give points for my orders. The rewards weren't huge, but I liked the points for being a regular user.
Now Skip has service fees, and they've stopped giving points. Often, drivers don't use the insulated bags, and they grab multiple deliveries, so when my food arrives, it's often cold. With the increased prices and no points, I hardly use Skip, unless I'm not feeling well, and can't prepare food. I used to order weekly. Now I just grab my meals myself. If others have cut back on their orders like I have, it might affect their business.
