wasteful and poorly thought out packing
We were surprised by what seemed like a huge box from The Popcorn Factory. It was left on our porch in a box as big as a stereo with way too much packing material. The only piece of tape holding the top flaps of the box came off entirely, which made the box open. Inside, it had a nice bow on several popcorn bags and goodies and a large basket that was packed at the bottom of the box. Gently pulling everything out showed that the basket was empty and stuffed with packing material and a cardboard piece to keep it off the bottom and keep it raised. Just remember that 'popcorn' is just packing stuff. The popcorn was crammed at the top of the box, the basket was empty yet packed, and that wasn't the worst part. Everything was glued together. Many bags of different popcorn flavors were stuck together. In the mix were some Scottish cookies, s'more cookies and 2 Lindor truffles, so we know they have nice taste. It took us around fifteen minutes to finally get one bag of red and white 'holiday' popcorn. The big kernels were okay, but the poorly thought out way things are packed makes it difficult to grab a bag of the delicate snacks. There might be nice snacks, but the packing is wasteful and poorly thought out.
