Look at my listing which contains the term stairlift. Next, look at my other image with a kijiji search for that exact term stairlift. My ad wasn't visible in the search, and it has been posted for months. Meanwhile, the site keeps bothering me to pay to boost my listing. Scam site.

My mom died, leaving 2 cats I was unable to keep. I couldn't locate any rescue organization that had room and I had to find them a good home fast since I had nowhere to care for them, so I bought an ad on Kijiji to rehome the cats at no cost to a good home. The website let me choose "free" as the price. After accepting my payment, Kijiji notified me that they were taking down my ad because their rules say that pets can't be offered for free. I couldn't edit the ad to add a price, I wasn't refunded for the ad they cancelled, and they NEVER replied to my message. I know my ad broke their rules, I made an honest mistake. They should have let me fix the ad, especially because the website let me choose "free" as the price for rehoming cats. If you can't list "free" as the price for cats the site shouldn't let you choose it for the ad. This feels like a way to charge for ads they take down, hoping people will pay again to put up a corrected ad. I am so disgusted by this. I will NEVER use Kijiji again.
