the worst place I have ever dealt with
Pelican parts is the worst place I have ever dealt with! I tried to order lots of parts from them for my 1m build and it became a total mess. I bought a front bumper, and they billed me and emailed me two weeks later saying it wasn't available. After that I ordered a rear bumper, and they billed me again, then got in touch 2 weeks later telling me shipping would be $600 more to send my bumper! First off, charging $600 to ship a bumper even if it comes from halfway around the world, and waiting 2 weeks to tell me when the bumper was meant to show up, was crazy. Then I tried to get a 1M front fender from them. I waited more than a month without getting any news about the fender, so I called to ask about my order. They said fedex had "lost the package" which they totally made up. Even if fedex really did lose it and filed a claim, why did they wait more than a month to let me know by email?! And then, to make things worse, while I was checking center cap prices I put some in my cart with wheel emblems but never bought them! Somehow they placed the order anyway and shipped them to me even though I had only put them in my cart to check the total including shipping! That was crazy, I would never buy anything from Pelican parts again and honestly, I don't think I could even if I tried! They can't even manage to send you something unless it's something you never even ordered! Awful company, don't buy anything from them you'll wish you hadn't, no doubt.

never buying parts from pelican again
I purchased items from Pelican on Monday and paid extra shipping fees to get items to me faster. Items were available, but weren't sent out until three days later, on the date they were supposed to get here. The tracking link was broken so I reached out to Pelican for a working tracking number. I didn't receive a tracking number, but was informed my order was on the way and told my shipping fees were returned. A couple more days passed without getting my order so I asked again. I was told my order would show up Saturday. One week after I ordered parts (the next Monday), I still haven't gotten the parts I ordered. I won't be buying parts from Pelican again.

bad impression of Pelican Parts
I just got a 2001 Boxster s and didn't know much about Porsche. I knew they might cost a lot to maintain so I began looking for info on things that could go wrong. While researching, I came across an article that mentioned that the fuel pump relay could break unexpectedly and recommended keeping extras. So, I contacted Pelican Parts and a sales rep said they often fail and that I needed to have at least two. Not wanting to get stuck because of this I bought two, believing the rep had given me the right part. I also asked where the relay was. He said it was under the passenger seat and that I would need to take out the seat to access the relay. That didn’t sound correct to me after placing the order so I began to check to find out where it really was if I had to take it out. Naturally, I found out it was in the footwell on the driver’s side. A few months later, I needed to replace this relay. I used one of the two that the Pelican Parts guy told me was the correct relay, but it wasn’t working. I checked the relay's number and realized the sales rep gave me the wrong relay that was actually for the secondary air injector pump. Because of the total confusion from this rep I was stuck waiting until I could get the correct relay. I guess this Pelican Parts rep thought it was funny to play with his customer and trick me, probably laughing at my expense. This made me have a bad impression of Pelican Parts and wonder if I could trust them again for anything I might buy from them. I had bought from them before and got what I needed without problems. I think this time I just ran into a bad rep. Pelican Parts should ensure their reps know that customers matter most. Without happy customers, there wouldn't be Pelican Parts or any reason for them..
