buyer beware
I had 1 nice year with them. This year I put in an order in feb to arrive in april. The plants arrived, and 3 had black leaves. Maybe they froze or got stressed and were left dry too long. I contacted them a bunch (email's the only way to reach them) and they finally replied, saying they thought they'd be okay. I expected plants in good shape not ones that I would have to nurse back to health. But they didn't make it and I texted again and they said they'd replace 2 plants. They claim 100% guarantee. WRONG! It's almost june and still no news or plants. Pretty bad. Customer service! Last year I moved the date on my order and they charged me twice. That turned into a whole ordeal. Why'd I go back? I got good plants last year and I thought, foolish me, ordering early would mean I got my plants. Buyer beware!

great experience with New Gardens Nursery
My experience with New Gardens Nusery was quite good. Found them last year just browsing for plants. All the plants I got were pretty cheap. The plants showed up right on schedule and in great shape. They offered a large variety of plants in almost every color, including black pansies I couldn't locate at any stores around me. The plants I bought last year are doing well and look great. So much so that I got more this year. I can’t wait for their arrival. They are very clear about care and maintenance, size, spacing, and blooming times. I want to keep them to myself, but they truly deserve recognition. I Would definitely recommend them. Sorry I lack any recent photos since we are just starting to leave winter and they aren't blooming yet.
