a bit of a wait for repairs

The repair man stopped by and wrote down information about each appliance. He contacted us roughly a week later. They said the stove is too expensive to repair and they have to get the ice maker. They said it might take a week to 10 days for the part to arrive. We haven't had to use it yet, so it's hard to say yet. The plumber came to repair the faucet. I normally get an email or text asking if the work is finished. About 3 weeks after that, I ended up finding a spam email asking if it was finished. I called as soon as I saw it to say the work was finished. I felt awful that the plumber had to wait so long to get paid. I think they should text again a week or two later so the worker isn't left waiting to get paid.

Home Safe has been good so far

My house is fairly large with 2 Air conditioners and 4 thermostats. One thermostat stopped working. The warranty company helped me with the Heat & Air company. Filing the claim was easy, and they kept me updated while they handled my claim. The person I spoke with was really nice; he answered all my questions and explained it all. Everyone was nice to me and they knew their job. I called about the problem, they said it was covered, and the claims department helped me get it filed. Home Safe has been good so far. My claim got filed, and they got back to me fast. I have liked the service. Every company you've sent was good at their job and nice. When I called Home Safe about my washing machine leak, they found a company to come fix it right away.

huge disappointment with your service

I will say I failed to read the details on the policy. My first experience came when my water heater began leaking. When I called in the claim, I was told that the heater was more than 12 years old, so it was not covered. Huge disappointment. I had to cover the repair at my own expense. The second claim was when the air conditioning unit quit cooling. I contacted the technician cause it was 100 degrees in the house. The technician came out and added freon, and the unit began to cool. The next day it stopped cooling again, so I called the repair man. He came out and said it had a leak and needed to be replaced with a new unit. I filed my second claim with the repair bills and was informed that adding freon to the unit wasn't seen as a repair, so it was not covered. That’s $1000 from my pocket. So why should I keep paying your fee when I can save my cash and pay for repairs myself? So far I only got another bill that I can’t handle if they can’t assist with even some of the repairs. So now Im facing the cost of a new air unit, and you guys will only cover $3000 for a new unit after I pay the technician a charge to diagnose what I already figured out: the compressor unit has multiple leaks in the coils, and they can be seen. So Im not relying on you to cover the diagnosis. I am feeling disappointed with your service. I won't keep paying for your service.
