customer service is better now
I placed an order for a new battery twin pack with priority since I needed them quickly. They showed up in three days but they had the wrong capacity (less Amp-hours). I contacted support and they acted annoyed with me - no apologies, no friendly words, just "send photos of what I got". I sent the pictures and they simply sent me a con note for returning them. That would have ruined the whole point of priority (I had an upcoming job) by the time I returned the wrong ones and then they would ship the correct ones. So I informed them I would return the wrong ones after my job was complete in a week and they could send me the right ones after. I received another annoyed email from them - oh, I can't return them "used" - that would cancel the warranty. What warranty are you talking about? They mentioned they would refund the difference between what I bought and what I got, and that was everything they would provide. Now I have batteries I didn't want and I would need to pay hundreds more to get the batteries I actually needed. All because their dispatch team can't read the labels. An AI would give better customer support than them. Edit: TKD contacted me and apologized for the bad experience. Someone higher up noticed the issue and offered a solution that works better for me. I'm going to keep shopping at TKD knowing that customer service is better. Kudos to TKD for addressing the problem and working towards a fair solution.
