my first time with the company was good
I still haven't gotten the item I ordered so I can't say anything about the quality or reliability. But after I placed the order after 4pm on Thursday I got a message from the delivery service on Friday morning letting me know my item would arrive on Friday, and they would inform me of the time before 11.00 am. Oh, I thought, okay, cool, really quick! So, it was 11:30, no news from the courier and no package, so I contacted UK Planet to see what was happening. I talked to a really friendly guy named Brian who told me that the message from the courier was wrong: my package wasn't arriving on Friday so I could go, no problem! No need to wait for a package that wasn’t arriving. He then mentioned that since they don't deliver on Saturday my order would arrive on Monday. That's fine, I’m not rushing to use it. His focus on details and readiness to help were nice and he was very helpful. It gave me an idea of the kind of support I could expect later if I ever run into a problem with an order. So, I hope my order gets here on Monday and that it's fine! Maybe leaving a review now is tempting fate! Still, I just want to share my experience and my first time with the company was a good one, so thanks Brian, you're a great guy!

steer clear of UKPlanetTools
They promoted an item that isn't available but charged my card anyway. They then took almost three weeks to refund me which is bad. Could this be a business that has money issues? That might be why getting my money back took longer, to support their own finances. I was at first told that as a way to apologize I would get a discount on any future order but I never got the discount. I was then told that the Managing Director would inform me how they would compensate me. Guess what? Never heard a thing from them after that. Could this be a business full of idiots, fools, or folks making a series of honest but bad errors? I believe I have the answer. The service culture in this country is bad at its core and at the center of that problem are businesses like this. I suggest you steer clear of UKPlanetTools like it's toxic. Tools for sure...

good ladder but delivery could improve
I purchased a Tough Master telescopic ladder and it came in two days. It was supposed to arrive the next day after I placed my order, but I understand that the “Virus” has affected things and the additional day is okay. When it arrived I saw the package was damaged and after checking I discovered the stability bar had a tiny dent in the center and was a bit bent. I was able to connect it to the base of the ladder and bolt it on. It’s not great to look at but it’s just a ladder not a Lotus. It seems stable when I use it and I feel secure. The locks look sturdy and it’s simple to set up and dismantle, and the rubber pads prevent finger pinching. To sum up, it’s a good ladder but they ought to be more cautious with the products they sell/deliver.
