stay away from this scam
"Well, take a look at that! Your songs were chosen for (insert newest scam). For only $19.99, you are CONSIDERED for whatever". People, please, don't buy into it. I still keep an account. I haven't ONCE signed up for any of these offers, though I know some people who did. I am constantly bombarded with this junk. It could be a decent site to get seen (and I mean, maybe, sure), they just want to get all the cash they can from artists who don't realize any different. Stay away, and get seen the usual way. These folks are leeches with THEIR own goals in mind.

waste of money for advertising
It's simply another site for sharing music, but it feels a bit overlooked. For those who know about it, they kind of use it. Yeah. Connect with similar musicians. But if you choose to pay for crowd feedback, prepare for slanted "unbiased" opinions. We're a heavy metal band, and we sent our tracks for metal reviews, and of our 13 tracks, only two "passed. " We get that. Not all people like it. What we can't accept, is that every single one of the bad reviews (scores 1-4) was from folks not in our band. They like popular music, and their feedback said "it’s not their thing" or "too loud for me". For metal and rock lovers, we received an 8.5. Hmm... strange. ReverbNation is a waste of money for advertising. Put your money into Facebook promotions, YouTube ads, or simply get stickers and put them on posts. Then you’ll hit the "same target crowd"
