frustrating and annoying experience

I like using Instagram to find new things I didn't know about. I have many unique items that I found thanks to Instagram and things I still want. I also like to see photos of cute animals, cool places to visit and even just browsing all the cute stuff, which I like a lot. But here are a few things I find really frustrating about Instagram. First of all, when I first signed up back in 2020. My account got flagged for odd behavior. First of all, I didn’t know what I did that was wrong, and that is really annoying. Recently with my new account (I had a couple before and quit using them since I couldn't manage them), but anyway, I was thanking a company that helped me a lot with a message to thank them for their support. Instagram flagged my message as a violation for asking for likes. First, that's not true and far from what I meant. I just wanted to tell the company that helped me that I appreciated their help. Things like that are really annoying. For one, if you break community rules your account could get shut down. I don't want my account shut down when I haven't done anything bad. It would be different if I used my account for anything wrong. I’m not doing that; I stay to myself, do my thing, and compliment others and say nice things on others' posts. Instagram should change its flagging system because I looked at their community rules and what was listed there, and I didn't do any of those things. Like I said, it's frustrating and annoying to have your account removed by Instagram when you know you didn't do anything wrong.

Instagram is like a drug

Where should I start? Scrolling endlessly? The Addiction? The Bots? The Toxicity? Everyone knows by now that social media takes over your mind by providing you a rush of pleasure every time you receive likes, comments or friend requests; that is how they make people return and how they make money. So really Instagram is like a drug. Rather than meeting and connecting with people IRL you can act like you’re friends with a group of people you don’t know. Every one of those users is sharing a carefully picked set of pictures to make you think they are wealthy, successful and attractive and their lives are like a film. It makes me feel sick. So now everyone has become addicted to their phones, where they can create a digital version of the person they want others to see. If you’re a business wanting to expand, it’s pretty much impossible now. The site is oversaturated and there are just too many users and the algorithm keeps shifting. I’ve been sharing for a month and just getting over 80 genuine followers is pretty much impossible. Unless you’re a big company that can pay them crazy amounts of cash, you won’t see any results. Don’t spend your time; the appeal is long gone. If you delete your account you'll be way cooler - and liberated.
