stressful ticket buying experience
I bought 2 tickets in August for a game in October which cost more than £400. The seller didn’t contact me until I reached out to fanpass a couple of times. The seller got in touch with me the evening before the match wich had an early kick off. So I was stressing out, of course, concerned I was being scammed. After a lot of stress and walking around my place on the day of the match, I got my tickets by email two hours prior to the game. I was worried they could be fake and wouldn't scan at the entrance but they scanned fine, and I had nice seats and saw my team win! I should mention that fanpass doesn't sell tickets itself. It’s private sellers on the platform as a marketplace. Good things: -can find tickets you wouldn't find anywhere else. -when I contacted them, fanpass got back to me fast -fanpass provides a guarantee that gives a full refund if the seller doesn't send tickets on time or if they turn out to be fake *check the T&C before buying (didn't have to claim so I can’t comment if it’s simple) Bad things: -selling tickets is technically against the law so it’s a gamble you take and not really 'allowed' on these kinds of sites. -You pay a lot more than Face value( sellers choose their own prices) -there's no phone number for fanpass, just email -no method to reach sellers so have to Rely on them getting in touch -tickets arrived really close to the match -I didn't get the section I paid for. (but I got nicer seats in the end!) Would I use this website again? No But I wouldn't use another ticket resale site other than the ones backed by the club. I just can't handle the stress of it all.
