Really bad customer service

Really bad customer service. I’m being straight with you so you can think about it if you’re thinking of getting hearing aids through Boots.
I got my hearing aids in November 2020.
This is my appointment list written below
My fitting on 26/11/20 was moved to 30/11/20 at 18.00.
Then the time changed again to 17.30 in another email.
04/01/21 was changed to 03/03/21
14/04/22 was changed to 05/05/21, then on 04/05/21 it got changed to 12/05/22, which was changed again in an email the day before my appointment to 26/05/21.
My next appointment went ahead as planned on 28/03/22
My hearing test on 06/03/23 took place as planned.
21/02/24 was cancelled by text message rather than by email at 17.10 the day before.
I got a call this morning just after 8am to move today's appointment at 09.15 this morning .
I told them their service is really bad and asked if I could speak to a manager and they said I could do that, but I may have to wait 5/10 working days before they contact me.
So if you think it’s a good idea going with a big company like Boots for your hearing care going by what I’ve been through after they’ve taken £3500 from you there’s no care after that and I work, so I needed to take time off and had to change my work week to fit around Boots who don’t seem to care about me as a customer and don’t think about my situation or the money I’ve lost.
I’ll update this review when a manager gets back to me.
Right now, I don’t have another appointment.
They also say dementia is more common if you don’t take care of your hearing I am 62 now so maybe they should follow their own advice.
I hope this helps anyone thinking about Boots hearing (Don’t Care) appointments or their care. I wish I hadn’t gone with them, as I said, I have every email and message to prove it. This is what happened to me with Boots.

poor service and long wait

The charger for my husband's Phonaks didn't work. Boots hearing said they couldn't assist. The local store informed my husband he needed to make an in-store appointment. That took a week. It was a week during which my husband struggled at work without hearing. During the appointment we were told it had to be ordered online ! Three weeks later, even after reaching out to customer service who never apologized, my husband still hasn't received his charger, and he's been put in a difficult situation causing a lot of stress due to Boots hearing. We also just realized that getting one from Amazon would have been much cheaper and faster.
