deceptive advertising and limited replies
Be careful if you register for a 'NO-cost' SurveyMonkey account. They promote 40 replies / survey included in free account option. We received 20 replies but SurveyMonkey is only letting us see 10 replies. Support says if you "want to access more than 10 responses, you have to upgrade to a subscription". So, they are keeping our information hostage until we subscribe and give them cash! This seems like deceptive advertising, enticing users with untrue statements about what is offered. We are a local group of 25 members, and don't have much cash, and just need to conduct one survey each year. Support explained the change to our account choices, saying that SurveyMonkey chose our account for one of their various tests to alter what an account can do, to 'test the market' for 'adjustments to pricing and plans'. My reply to SurveyMonkey regarding whether users will agree with them limiting a free account after the limit has gone from 40 down to 10 replies and keeping the information from us is: NO! We are not going to upgrade, and we will look for another way to ask members.

pricing seems strange and frustrating
The features are okay but the pricing seems strange. Here are some examples:
-the free plan looks like a decent option, until you discover they limit you to 10 answers per survey (for example I got 50 responses to a survey for a charity)
-you have to upgrade to view over 10 answers per survey
-they promote the yearly upfront plan constantly
-the upgrade appeared to be a reasonable $35 a month for the monthly plan but turned out to be $39 a month, and that was only if you paid for the entire year upfront. For the actual monthly option it was $99 each month.
-ending the $99/month plan isn't easy, so I can imagine getting frustrated figuring it out and then ending up paying for extra months
If you only need to run one survey or do basic things, consider another survey platform with better pricing. I should have gone with Microsoft or Google's survey options that are free.
